In July 2016 MTB Sport made a trip to Poland to meet the team behind Rocday MTB apparel. For those of you who don’t know, Rocday are an exciting young Polish brand producing great looking and well-designed mountain bike clothes. Their range at the moment consists of a large range of jerseys, gloves and shorts. The gear suits any form of mountain bike riding from cross-country to enduro and downhill. Rocday were attending the Joyride Bike Festival at Kluszkowce bike park in the south of Poland where they had a retail site selling their quality mountain bike apparel. This turned out to be a great place to meet, as we made sure we arrived a day early to have some fun on the downhill tracks in the bikepark. It was great to be able to meet the Rocday team in person and to get our first look at their great biking gear. We already new we liked the look of their jerseys, gloves and shorts and this became even more apparent when we had the real thing in our hands. It was great to also see the quality of the products and the smaller details that add to the appeal of this unique brand. We could also see how much time and effort Rocday had put into selecting high quality fabrics to add to the strength and comfort of their products.
So after a day spent with the Rocday team we left very impressed and excited by their brand and the gear they have to offer. Most of all we were pumped that the wheels were now in motion for us to start working together and bring Rocday to Australia.
We were also lucky enough to leave Poland with a nice selection of Rocday gloves, jerseys and shorts to test. It was too long to wait until we were back in Australia so on our next stop in Sweden we found some nice single track and put our new riding gear to the test.
The combination of the blue Evo Gloves with the black Evo Jersey and blue Roc Lite Shorts really popped and we were more than impressed with the look. After a couple of hours shredding trails we were stoked with the comfort and feel of our new Rocday riding gear. Even when we were fully stretched out in our riding position going down the steepest part of the trail the jersey and shorts still fit perfectly and covered everywhere they were meant to.
The guys from Rocday really are passionate about mountain biking and this shows in the clothes they produce. After years of riding they have not only designed mountain bike clothes that look awesome but that also really feel great to ride in. We’re stoked to be able to offer the Rocday range to mountain bike riders in Australia.
